Before Holy Cross: Four-year varsity member of the varsity track and field team at the University Park Campus School, competing for head coach Kevin Moylan ... Served as team captain during his junior and senior seasons ... Placed third in the javelin at the Inter-High School meet during his senior year ... Had a personal-best javelin throw of 120 feet ... Also a member of the varsity cross country team for one year.
