2022-23 INDOOR (SENIOR):

• Did not compete. 

2022 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Set a personal best in the 800 meters (2:09.24) at the Holy Cross Invitational.
• Took 13th in the 1,500 meters at the Holy Cross Men’s Meet.

2021-22 INDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Finished 16th in the mile at the Brown Alden Invitational.

2021 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Ran a personal best time of 4:24.58 in the 1500 meters, placing 13th, against Rhode Island (4/21). 
• Outdoor portion of season shortened due to COVID-19.

2020-21 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Did not compete. 
• Indoor portion of season shortened and ran in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19.

2020 OUTDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Outdoor portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2019-20 INDOOR (FRESHMAN):

• Ran the mile at the URI Coaches Tribute, clocking in at 4:54.72 (2/8).
• Ran the 800m at the Great Dane Classic, recording a time of 2:10.57 (1/11).

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Three-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track and field at Xavier under Patrick Dormer.
• Captain during senior season for cross country.
• Earned team’s sophomore class MVP and junior class most improved honors.
• Owns personal best of 16:23 in three-mile.
• Team placed fourth at CHSAA Championships and won NYCHSAA title in 2018.
• Team won indoor NYCHSAA and CHSAA championships in 2018.
• Indoor personal bests include 54.1 in 400m, 1:29 in 600m, 2:04 in 800m and 4:39 in 1600m.
• Won Jim Scott Leadership Award in 2019 during outdoor track season.
• Team earned outdoor NYCHSAA title in 2018.
• Outdoor personal bests include 54.3 in 400m, 2:06 in 800m and 4:43 in 1600m.
• Named to school’s academic honor roll four times.
• Co-President of Spectrum at Xavier and member of Xavier Review.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Tim and Rita O’Brien.
• Has one sister (Stella).
• Plans to major in English at Holy Cross, looking to pursue a career in journalism.
