• Competed for coach Laurie Kelleher at Fox Lane High School
• Team captain during his senior year
• A two-time All-League selection
• Three-time qualifier for the state championship, in addition to being a finalist as a senior
• Also swam for the Badger Swim Club

• Father, John Loveless, swam at Brown and was a three-time All-Ivy League selection
• Mother, Ellen Loveless, played lacrosse and soccer at Fairfield
• Sister, MaryKate Loveless, swam at Holy Cross
• Brother, Jack Loveless, swan at the University of Pennsylvania
• Brother, Liam Loveless, swam at Amherst College
