2012-2013: Competed in three individual eventsincluding the 50 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 1,000freestyle…earned season-best times in the 50 fly (27.21)against Bryant, the 200 free (2:02.44) at the Worcester CityChampionship and in the 1,000 free (11:46.57) versusSpringfield…named to the Patriot League Academic HonorRole.
2011-2012: Competed in five differentindividual events including the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles, 100backstroke and 100 butterfly…posted season-best times in the50 free (23.39) and 100 free (51.65) at the Patriot LeagueChampionship (2/16-2/18) and in the 100 fly (54.47) against Lehigh(10/9).
2010-2011: Posted season-best times at thePatriot League Championship in the 50 free (24.06), 100 free(52.31) and 100 back (1:04.05).
Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of thevarsity swim team at Paul VI Catholic H.S...member of NationalHonor Society and Spanish Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Joseph (Class of 1986) andAnneke Gibbons...has one brother (Brian)...grandfather Richard F.Gibbons, Sr. (Class of 1960) and uncle Richard Gibbons, Jr. (Classof 1984) attended Holy Cross...majoring in Economics and Accountingwith a minor in Spanish.
