Holy Cross Athletics

2014-2015:

• Competed in seven individual events including 50, 100 and 200 backstroke, 100 butterfly, 100 individual medley and 50 and 100 freestyle
• Also competed in the 200 and 400 freestyle and the 200 and 400 medley relay teams
• Posted a career-best time in the 100 individual medley (1:11.88) at the Holy Cross Pentathlon and 100 freestyle (57.87) versus Fairfield. 

2013-2014: 

• Competed in five individual events including the 100 and 200 backstroke, 200 IM, 50 and 100 freestyle
• Member of the 200 and 400 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.   

2012-2013:

• Competed in nine individual events including the 50, 100, and 1,650 freestyles; 50, 100 and 200 backstrokes; 100 breaststroke; 100 butterfly; and 100 individual medley
• Earned season-best times in the 50 free (26.13) against Providence; in the 100 breast (1:39.90), 100 fly (1:12.19) and 100 IM (1:14.71) versus Assumption; in the 50 back (30.76), 100 back (1:05.10), 200 back (2:25.67) and 100 free (59.05) at the Harold Anderson Invitational; and 1,650 free (21:04.61) at the Worcester City Championship…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross:

• Two-year member of the Newington High School varsity swim team under coach John Dipaola-Tromba
• Named team captain senior year
• Received 2011 Leadership Award
• Named to the 2012 Academic All Conference
• Qualified for the State Tournament in 2011 and 2012 for 100 backstroke
• Also played one year of varsity cross country and
• President of the National Science Honor Society
• Won Top Scholar award in 2010 and 2011
• Member of the Math, History and French Honor Society
• Also member of National Honor Society
• Graduated with high honors.

• Has two brothers (Doug and Joe) and one sister (Maria).
