HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB:
• Member of the swimming team at Tomball High School in Tomball, Texas
• Team captain during his senior year
• Broke school records in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle, while swimming a leg on school record-setting 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams
• Three-time team Most Valuable Player
• Also swam for Swim Streamline at Northampton

PERSONAL:
• Father, Julio Abril, played basketball at Cal State-Maritime
