Kevin Salisbury is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Holy Cross swimming and diving teams in 2026-2027.
Salisbury joined the Crusaders after serving as an assistant coach at Providence from 2002-2026. He previously spent time as the head swimming and diving coach at Clark University (1990-1999) and as an assistant coach at Brown University (1988-1990). Salisbury holds Level III Coach Certification with the American Swimming Coaches Association.
In addition to his duties coaching duties, Salisbury is an assistant professor of psychology at the Community College of Rhode Island. He also served as CCRI’s director of athletics from 2017-2023. Salisbury earned Athletics Director of the Year honors from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics in 2023, and received the L. William Miller Award from the National Alliance of Two-Year College Athletic Administrators in 2025.
Salisbury is a 1986 graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He was inducted into the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame in 1993 and the NJCAA Swimming & Diving Hall of Fame in 2024.
Salisbury and his wife, Lisa, reside in Rhode Island and have three daughters (Kaitlyn, Jessica and Rachel).
