AS A JUNIOR IN 2015:

• Started in each of the 17 games he played in
• Was part of a defense that allowed only 14 goals, which are the least amount of goals aloud by the team in a season since 2002, when the team allowed a school record of 12
• Was part of the shutout victories against Sacred Heart (9/11), Lehigh (9/26), Duke (10/13), Lafayette (10/24) and Loyola (Md.) (11/7)
• The team’s five shutouts are the most since 2007

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014:

• Started in all 17 games
• Part of the defense that posted shutouts against Loyola (Md.) (9/27) and Northeastern (10/1)
• Assisted the game-winning goal in the 1-0 shutout of Northeastern (10/1)

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013:

• Started all 20 games
• Recorded an assist on game winning goal against Army (10/30) for his first collegiate point
• Was part of a defense that posted lowest number of goals against since 2009 and recorded shut outs against Boston University (10/9), Lafayette (10/12) and Colgate (11/12)

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Four-year member of the varsity soccer team at Fairfield Warde High School under coach Justin Ottavio
• Team captain in 2012
• Earned 2010 and 2011 All-Conference East honors
• Named to 2012 All-Conference team
• Received 2012 Connecticut Post Boys All-Star team accolades
• Also played club soccer for Beachside Soccer Club of Connecticut under coach Mickey Kydes
• Team was State Cup champions from 2008-2012
• Four-year member of high school indoor track team
• Set school record for the 4x200m event

• Son of Philip and Laura Gavey
• Father was a four year captain of the rugby team at Fairfield (Class of 1987)
• Has two brothers (Kevin and Connor) and one sister (Meaghan)
• Kevin played soccer at Brown (Class of 2013) and Connor plays at Dickinson (Class of 2015)
• Majoring in Economics
