2012: Played and started in six games … made 18 saves and had a save percentage of .600 … posted a six-save performance in the 2-1 victory over Rhode Island (9/15) ... named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll … team representative in Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

2011: Started 11 games in goal … posted a 2-7-2 record with two shutouts ... finished the season with 43 saves and a .717 save percentage  ... recorded a 1.46 goals against average with 17 goals allowed  ... ranked fourth in the Patriot League in saves per game … had a season-high 10 saves against George Mason (9/11) ... posted a shutout against Dartmouth (9/2) … made six saves against Sacred Heart (9/6) … shut out American (11/5) ... earned his first collegiate start against Boston University (8/26), making five saves … played a total of 1049:08 minutes … named the AT&T Crusader of the Week (9/5) … named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS: Played three seasons of varsity soccer at Xavier High School … captained team as a senior … two-time team MVP (2009 and 2010) … connecticut Soccer Coaches Association Senior Bowl selection (2010) … earned All-State honors from Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association and ESPN RISE in 2010 … a first team All-Southern Connecticut Conference selection (2009 and 2010) … named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team (2010) … a Middletown Press, Hartford Courant and New Haven Register All-Area team selection (2010) … ended the 2010 season with 11 shutouts in 16 games allowing only six goals … also played for the Oakwood Soccer Club.

PERSONAL: Son of Robert and Maureen Thompson … father played soccer at Hartford … has one brother, Daniel, who graduated from Holy Cross in 2013 … majoring in Sociology.
