Holy Cross Athletics

2015-16:

• Raced in two fall events and three spring regattas
• Competed on the fourth varsity eight at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 10)

2014-2015:

• Member of the varsity eight for all three fall regattas
• Was a part of the varsity eight that placed first out of 17 boats at the Snake Regatta (10/11)

2013-2014:

• Member of the freshman eight that won the novice race at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 12)
• Part of the varsity club four that was second out of 49 boats at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 20)
• Part of the second varsity eight that beat Bucknell (April 27)…raced at the IRA National Championship with the third varsity eight.

Before Holy Cross:

• Attended Edmond Memorial High School
• Member of OKC Rowing for coach Jim Andersen
• 2012-2013 team captain…won the team’s 2011-2012 Varsity Boys Athlete of the Year
• Went undefeated in the region in the 2013 spring season
• Team placed fifth at the 2012 USRowing Youth National Championship
• Won 20 gold medals, eight silver and three bronze

• Son of William and Lisa Tierney
• His father played golf at Williams (Class of 1986)
• Has one brother (Matthew) and one sister (Grace)
• Majoring in Chemistry
