2011-2012: Member ofthe varsity eight that placed first out of 23 boats in themen’s eight race and set a course record at the Snake Regatta(Oct. 15)...rowed for the varsity eight in all seven springregattas...varsity eight won races against Rutgers (April 22) andBucknell (April 29).

2010-2011: Member of the varsity eight thatcompeted at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 9), placing first of 20teams…rowed for the second varsity eight in seven of itseight competitions in the spring, including the win versus EARCmember Rutgers (April 30).

2009-2010: A member of the freshmaneight…finished first with the Crusaders’ novice‘A’ boat at the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge (Oct.24)...the freshman eight won two of its three races at the 23rdGeorge Washington Invitational (April 9-10), defeating UC San Diegoin the first race and George Washington and Gonzaga in the thirdrace…won dual-races versus Bucknell (April 18) and Rutgers(May 2).

Before Holy Cross: Was a member of the EssexRowing Club while attending Central Catholic H.S....earned fifthplace in the 2009 Northeast/Mid Atlantic Junior DistrictChampionships and third at the 2009 Saratoga Invitational, both asa member of the varsity eight...rowing with the novice eight, hisboat finished third in the 2008 Northeast/Mid Atlantic JuniorDistrict Championships...earned a silver medal in Mathematics andFrench in 2009, and a gold in History in 2008... president of theband and a National Honor Society member.

Personal: Son of Lynn and Nicholas Forgione...hasone sister, Emily, who rowed at Mount Holyoke (Class of2011)...majoring in Political Science.
