2012-2013: Member of the varsity eight boatin every regatta...member of the varsity eight boat that placedfirst out of 27 boats at the Snake Regatta on Oct. 13...part of thevarsity eight boat that placed third in the third level finals ofthe Eastern Sprints, defeating No. 20 George Washington, Rutgersand MIT...varsity eight boat was nationally ranked at No. 20 in theUSRowing men’s varsity eight poll...the first time thevarsity eight had been ranked in this poll since May 24,2006...competed at the IRA National Championship...member of theHoly Cross Leadership Academy.
2011-2012:Member of the varsity eight that placed first out of 23 boats inthe men’s eight race and set a course record at the SnakeRegatta (Oct. 15)...rowed for the varsity eight in all seven springregattas...varsity eight won races against Rutgers (April 22) andBucknell (April 29)...member of the varsity four that won thepetite final at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June2)...member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.
2010-2011: Member of the freshman eight in alleight competitions in the spring…freshman eight defeatedEARC member Rutgers (April 30) and took first place in thethird-level final at the Eastern Sprints (May 15).
Before Holy Cross: Attended the KentSchool...member of the varsity rowing team, serving as a seniorcaptain…part of a crew that won the boy’s varsityeight competition at the 2010 NEIRAs…team won the Senior Cupat the Reading Regatta in 2008-2009 and was second at theNEIRAs.
Personal: Son of Dan and MargaretTraub…father was a member of the swimming team at SouthernConnecticut...mother was on the rugby team at SouthernConnecticut…has one brother (Kyle) and one sister(Carly)...majoring in Economics.
