2008-2009: Amember of the second varsity eight that finished the EasternSprints in 16th place (May 10).

2007-2008: Rowed with the second varsity eightthat won the Patriot Challenge (April 27) and defeatedDartmouth's second varsity eight head-to-head (April 5)...helpedthe second varsity eight to a 15th place finish in the EasternSprints and 18th at the IRA Regatta.

2006-2007: Member of the freshman eight that wontheir race at the Sullivan Cup (March 31), Knecht Cup (April 14)and Patriot League Challenge (May 1)...rowed on the first freshmaneight team in Holy Cross history to compete in the Eastern Sprints,finishing 14^th (May 13).

Before Holy Cross: Played soccer and basketball atSandwich H.S....advanced to the Massachusetts state soccertournament all four years, including a berth as a statesemifinalist in 2004.

Personal: Son of Edgar and Julie Pinero...has onesister, Alice, and one brother, Michael... Father, Edgar, playedfootball at the University of Puerto Rico...majoring in PoliticalScience.
