2008-2009: Splithis time between the second varsity eight and the varsityeight...was a member of the first Holy Cross varsity team tocompete at the Princeton Chase (Oct. 26)...rowed with the secondvarsity eight when Holy Cross finished 16th at the Eastern Sprints(May 10).

2007-2008: Helped Holy Cross win the PatriotChallenge as a member of the second varsity eight (Apr. 28)...rowedon boats that finished 15th at the Eastern Sprints (May 18) and18th at the IRA Championship Regatta (Jun. 5-7).

2006-2007: Member of the freshman eight that wontheir race at the Sullivan Cup (Mar. 31), Knecht Cup (Apr. 14) andPatriot League Challenge (May 1)...rowed on the first freshmaneight team in Holy Cross history to compete in the Eastern Sprints,finishing 14th.

Before Holy Cross: Was a two-sport athlete forthree years, playing ice hockey and lacrosse...a wrist injuryprevented him from competing athletically during his senioryear...won the ACL Sportsmanship Award during his time on thehockey team, and was also the recipient of the Varsity CoachesAward...earned High Academic Honors all four years, and was also athree-time winner of the Student Athlete Award.

Personal: Son of Donald and Sharon Estes... hastwo sisters Katie and Caroline...majoring in Political Science witha concentration in Latin American Studies.
