2011-2012:Competed in four spring regattas...rowed for the freshman eighttwice, the freshman four once and the second freshman eightonce.

Before Holy Cross: Competed for Community RowingInc. for coach Marko Vukovic…men’s lightweightintermediate eight boat won the bronze medal at club nationals in2010…placed fourth in the men’s under-23 lightweighteight dash at the 2010 Royal Canadian Henley Regatta…won twogold medals at the 2011 Saratoga Invitational Regatta in themen’s youth lightweight eight, while also earning a bronzemedal in the men’s heavyweight eight…won a gold medalin the men’s lightweight eight at the 2011 NortheastRegional…team placed 11th overall at youth nationals in2011…won a silver medal at the 2010 Northeast Regional inthe men’s heavyweight eight…attended Catholic MemorialH.S. where he won the Peter Rockwood Jr. Memorial Award.

Personal: Son of Gerry and Diane Roy…hasthree sisters (Catherine, Caroline and Victoria)…sister,Catherine, is a senior on the Holy Cross women’s rowingteam...has not yet declared a major.
