Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Catholic Memorial H.S. for coach Kevin Lynch … earned 2011 first team All-Conference honors … also a four-year member of the varsity hockey team … team won the 2009 state championship … four-time Catholic Conference champions.
Personal: Son of Wayne and Suzanne Stathopoulos … his mother played volleyball at UMass Boston … has one brother (Mike) and a twin sister (Casey) … his sister plays hockey at New Hampshire (Class of 2015) … has not yet declared a major.
