Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2020-21:
- Did not compete.
- Season limited to Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019-20:
- Did not take part in any events.
- Season concluded on March 12 due to COVID-19.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018-19:
- Played 11 rounds on the season.
- Averaged 77.9 strokes per 18 holes.
- Placed 25th at the RTJ Individual Shootout with a two-round total of 153 strokes.
- Finished 40th at the Columbia Invitational, totaling 154 strokes over two rounds.
- Shot a season-low 75 in the second round of the Columbia Invitational.
- Came in 42nd at the Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge with a two-round total of 154 strokes.
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Played for head coach Mike Fay at the Williston Northampton School in Easthampton, Mass.
- Served as team captain during his senior year.
- Helped team break the school single-season record for victories in 2017.
- Won the 2017 Hartford Junior Classic Boys 16-18 championships.
- Also lettered in soccer, serving as team captain for two years and earning WNEPSSA All-Star honors.
PERSONAL:
- Son of Robert and Karen Phelan.
- Has one sister (Jenna).
