CAREER HONORS:

• Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022)

AS A SENIOR IN 2022:

• Ran a personal best 10k time of 32:40.5 at the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Championship (11/11).
• Placed 62nd in the 8.05k at the Patriot League Championship with a time of 26:30.6 (10/29).
• Set a personal best 8k time of 25:24.0 at the NEICAAA Championship, taking 21st (10/8).
• Finished 173rd with an 8k time of 25:50.0 at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (9/30). 
• Took tenth with a 3.1m time of 16:10.8 at the Shawn M. Nassaney Invitational (9/10).
• Placed 25th with a 5k time of 16:34.4 at the Suffolk Short Course Classic (9/2).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2021:

• Ran a 10K time of 35:04.9 at the NCAA Division I Northeast Region Championship (11/12).
• Placed 92nd with a time of 28:17.2 in the 8K at the Patriot League Championship (10/31).
• Finished in 45th place with a season-best 8K time of 27:35.1 at the New England Championship (10/9).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020:

• Placed 52nd at the Patriot League Championship, running a time of 24:51.9 on the 4.7-mile road course.
• Shortened season ran during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019:

• Placed 967th at Patriot League Championship, running an 8K time of 29:23.8 (11/2). 
• Finished in 38th place at Nassaney Invitational in an 8K time of 26:31.1 (9/7). 
• Opened collegiate career with a 26th-place finish at UNH Invitational (8/31).

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Member of varsity indoor and outdoor track and field teams at Arlington under Stephen Arnett.
• Two-time All-League, All-County and All-Section selection for indoor track in 2018 and 2019.
• Named All-State selection in 2019 for indoor track.
• Helped lead team to three straight league and county indoor championships between 2017 and 2019.
• Team won section championship for indoor season in 2019.
• Part of 4x800 meter team that placed fourth at NYS championship meet in 2019.
• Indoor personal bests include 2:37.33 in 1,000m and a 2:00.11 800m split.
• Won team’s Coaches Award for indoor season in 2018 and outdoor season in 2019.
• Two-time All-League, All-County and All-Section selection for outdoor track in 2018 and 2019.
• Named All-State selection in 2019 for outdoor track.
• Helped lead team to four straight league and county outdoor championships between 2016 and 2019.
• Team also won outdoor section championship in 2019.
• Part of 4x800 meter relay team that placed third at NYS outdoor championship and 11^th at New Balance Nationals in 2019.
• Outdoor personal bests include 4:30.79 in mile and 1:59.05 in 800m split.
• Played three varsity seasons of soccer as a center back under Craig Sanborn, serving as team captain in 2018.
• All-League selection in 2017 and 2018.
• Team won league titles in 2016 and 2017.
• Member of National Honor Society and Italian Honor Society.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Thomas and Cindy VanDermark.
• Father played basketball at SUNY Geneseo.
• Has one brother (Jake) and one sister (Brianna).
• Major is undecided.
