CAREER HONORS:
Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2018, 2019)

AS A SENIOR IN 2019:

• Member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
• Placed 103rd at Patriot League Championship, running 8K time of 30:05.4 (11/2). 
• Finished in 116th place at Nassaney Invitational, clocking in at an 8K time of 29:01.5 (9/7). 
• Opened season at UNH Invitational, running 5K time of 17:55.5 and placing 46th (8/31). 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2018:

• Opened the year with a season-best 5K time of 17:23.31, placing 44^th against UNH and Providence (9/1).
• Posted a season-best 8K time of 29:05.77 at the UMass Dartmouth Invite, placing 162^nd (9/15).
• Ran a 4.97-mile time of 27:21 at the IC4A Championships, placing 62^nd in the sub-varsity race (11/17).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2017:

• Competed in the 8k and posted a career-best time (27:25) at the Paul Short Invitational. 
• Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016:

• Posted season-best 8k time of 28:38 at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 1.
• Also ran the 8k in 29:02 at the Shriner Invitational, in 28:47.77 at the New England Championship and in 32:08 at the IC4A Championship.

 BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Ran one year of varsity cross country under head coach Ken Skelley and four years of varsity track under head coach Vincent McGinn, serving as team captain his senior year at La Salle Academy.
• Named first team All-Division in cross country, helping his team to a Division Class and State Championship in 2015.
• Ran as a member of the 4x800-meter relay team that set a school record time of 7:58.80, earning Providence Journal first team All-State recognition.
• Won the coaches award in 2015.
• Also was a one-year member of the varsity soccer team.

PERSONAL:

• Son of William and DeLyse Shakespeare.
• Has one sister (Victoria).
• Majoring in chemistry.
