Holy Cross Athletics

Katherine Cotton enters her third season as a field hockey assistant coach at the College of the Holy Cross in 2023. Cotton arrived on The Hill after spending the previous two years as an assistant coach at MIT.

During Cotton’s tenure at MIT, the Engineers advanced to the NCAA DIII Regional Final, a program-first. Also during the 2019 season, the coaching staff was named the NFHCA Division III New England East Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Cotton as has club coaching experience with MAINE STYX, where she served as the goalkeeping director from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Cotton coaches with the East Coast Wizards.

Cotton was a four-year goalie for Nichols College and also played lacrosse with the Bison. The Kennebunk, Maine native graduated from Nichols in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Cotton graduated from Boston College in 2020 with a master’s degree in sport administration.
