Friso Kuiper joins the Crusaders for his third season in the fall of 2024. Kuiper holds a Level II Coaching degree from USA Field Hockey and previously coached the Chatham Hall field hockey team to the state playoffs in 2019.
 
Originally from The Netherlands, Kuiper started playing field hockey at age four until his mid-twenties at the Amsterdam Hockey & Bandy Club (AH&BC) in Amsterdam. While playing for the youth programs, he frequently competed at the regional and national levels. 
 
Kuiper graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with an MBA in December 2022 and holds a double undergraduate degree from Nyenrode Business University and the University of Westminster in business management and new business, respectively.
