HONORS & AWARDS
Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2020)

AS A SENIOR IN 2022: 

• Appeared in 12 games as an offensive lineman.
• Part of an offensive line that allowed the Crusaders to rank fifth nationally in scoring offense with 38.8 points per game, and sixth nationally in rushing offense with 243.8 rushing yards per game.

AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Appeared in all 13 games as the team’s long snapper, while also starting five games at center.
• Part of an offensive line that allowed the Crusaders to average 32.2 points per game, 405.6 yards per game and a league-best 203.8 rushing yards per game.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020: 

• Appeared in all four games, serving as the team’s long snapper. 
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Saw action in all 13 games on the season.
• Handled all snapping duties on punts, field goals and extra points.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Appeared in 10 games on the season.
• Served as the snapper on all field goals and extra points.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played for head coach Jim DeSarno at Westfield Senior High School in Westfield, N.J.
• Named first team All-Conference and honorable mention All-State.
• Helped lead team to three consecutive state championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
• Also lettered in lacrosse.
• Served as captain of both the football and lacrosse teams during his senior season.
• Helped lacrosse team to three straight county championships.

PERSONAL:

• Also played as a goalkeeper for the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team in 2021. 
• Son of John and Paula McCauley.
• Father was a member of the rugby team at St. Joseph’s University.
• Has one brother (Declan) and one sister (Maggie).
• Brother, Declan, is a junior offensive lineman for the Crusaders.
• Majoring in political science.
