AS A JUNIOR IN 2022: 

• Appeared in 12 games as a reserve tight end.
• Recorded a 12-yard reception at Merrimack (9/2).
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021: 

• Appeared in win over Georgetown (10/16).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020: 

• Did not appear in any contests. 
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

• Spent one postgraduate year at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., playing for head coach Trey Brown.
• Earned All-Central New England honors in 2019.
• Previously played for head coach Eric McCarthy at Georgetown High School in Georgetown, Mass.
• Team captain during senior season, while earning Newburyport Daily News most valuable player honors.
• Totaled 1,183 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior, then had 759 receiving yards and 17 total touchdowns as a senior.
• Also a member of the basketball team, scoring 1,088 career points and earning All-Cape Ann League honors twice.
• A member of National Honor Society.

• Son of Max Lane and Melanie Johnson.
• Father played football at Navy, and for the New England Patriots for seven seasons.
• Has one sister (Alexis).
• Majoring in economics.
