HONORS & AWARDS
Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2020)

AS A FIFTH YEAR SENIOR IN 2022: 

• Did not appear in any contests. 

AS A SENIOR IN 2021: 

• Did not appear in any contests.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2020: 

• Appeared in three games, with appearances on special teams. 
• Had three tackles and recovered an onside kick attempt in Patriot League Championship Game against Bucknell (4/17). 
• Shortened season played during Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2019:

• Appeared in 11 games as a backup linebacker and on special teams.
• Made two tackles on the season, against Brown and Bucknell.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018:

• Did not see any varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL:

• Played two seasons for head coach Chuck Reid at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn.
• Served as a team captain in 2017, while earning first team All-Conference honors in 2016.
• Also a member of the track and field team at Loomis Chaffee, running sprints.
• Previously played for head coach David Couillard at the Pomfret School in Pomfret, Conn.
• Served as a team captain during the 2015 season.
• Earned second team All-New England honors in 2015.

PERSONAL:

• Son of Joseph and Julie Leo.
• Father played football at Southern Connecticut State University.
• Has one brother (Dante) and one sister (Maria).
• Majoring in History.
