Holy Cross Athletics

Track & Field 2016-2017:

• Competed in the 1,500, 3,000, 5,000-meter and 1 mile runs
• Posted season-best times in the 1,500-meter run (4:15.66) at the U Mass Minutemen Track and Field Invitational (4/15), the 3,000-meter run (9:32.15) at the Maine and Holy Cross Men Duel Meet (2/4), the 5,000-meter run (16:16.98) at the Holy Cross Invitational (4/22) and the 1 mile run (4:58.25) at the UNH vs Holy Cross Meet (1/16)
• Reached the finals in every event
• Placed 12th in the 5,000-meter run (17:12.88) at the Holy Cross Invitational
• Finished eighth in the 3,000-meter run (9:32.15) at the Maine and Holy Cross Men Dual Meet (2/4)
• Placed ninth in the 5,000-meter run (17:03.45) at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invite (4/29)

Cross Country 2014-2015:

• Ran season-best 5K time of 16:58 at the Central Connecticut Mini-Meet on Oct. 23.
• Earned his top 8K time of the season at 28:43 at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 2.
• Ran a 5 mile race at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in a time of 29:12.
• Also ran a 5K vs. New Hampshire and Providence in 18:16, and an 8K at the New England Championship in 29:21.
• Named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2014-2015:  

• Competed in the one mile run
• Posted season-best time in the one mile (5:09.65) versus Maine. 

Before Holy Cross:

• Four-year member of the varsity cross country team at Earl L. Vandermuelen High School
• 2013 team captain
• Earned All-League honors in 2013
• Three-year member of the varsity indoor track team
• Team captain for the 2013-2014 season
• Earned All-League honors in 2013 and 2014
• Team won league championship in 2012 and 2014
• Three-year member of the varsity outdoor track team
• 2014 team captain
• Earned All-League honors in 2013 and 2014
• Earned All-County honors in 2014
• Team won league championship in 2014
• Participated with the drama club and literary magazine
• Recognized as an A.P. Scholar.

• Son of John and Sheila Albinson
• Mom competed in cross country and softball at Wheaton College
• Has two sisters (Virginia and Jane)
• Uncle Ronald Rossi (Class of 1989) played soccer at Holy Cross
