CAREER HONORS:

• Set the school record in the distance medley relay at the IC4A Indoor Championship (3/5/23).

2022-23 INDOOR (SENIOR):

• Set a personal best in the 500m at the Alden Invitational (1:07.78).
• Won the 400m against UNH with a time of 53.32.
• Competed in the 400m and the 4x400 relay at the NEICAAA Indoor Championship.
• Set a personal best in the 60m hurdles (8.42), earning third and placed second in the 400m at the URI Coaches Invitational.
• Claimed a personal best in the 400m at Patriot League Indoor Championship with a time of 50.23.
• Helped his distance medley relay break the school record at the IC4A Indoor Championship with a time of 9:57.54, placing sixth. 

2022 OUTDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Finished second in the 400 meter hurdles at the UMass Invitational.
• Took fourth in the 110 meter hurdles at the UNH Wildcat Invitational.
• Claimed first in the 400 meter hurdles with a personal best (55.29) at the Holy Cross Invitational.
• Set two personal bests at the Holy Cross Men’s Meet – 100 meters (11.88) and 200 meters (23.51).
• Finished fifth and helped 4x400 relay take sixth at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship.
• Finished 11th in the 400 meter hurdles at the NEICAAA Outdoor Championship.

2021-22 INDOOR (JUNIOR):

• Set a personal best in the 55 meter hurdles (8.34) and placed fourth in the 200 meters at the dual meet against New Hampshire.
• Set a personal best in the 400 meters (50.60) at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invite.
• Took 18th in the 400m at the Patriot League Indoor Championship.

2021 OUTDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Ran a personal best time of 57.04 in the 400 hurdles, placing 15th and was a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed sixth (3:24.34) at the New England Outdoor Championship (5/14-15). 
• Placed ninth in the 400 hurdles (59.55) and fifth in the 4x100 relay (44.77) at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship (4/30-5/1).
• Placed fifth with a personal best time of 16.10 in the 110 hurdles against Rhode Island (4/21). 
• Outdoor portion of season shortened due to COVID-19.

2020-21 INDOOR (SOPHOMORE):

• Placed fourth in the 400 meters (52.89) and second in the 60 hurdles (9.03) at the Patriot League Challenge (2/28). 
• Indoor portion of season shortened and ran in the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19.

• Outdoor portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.

• Competed in the 4x400m relay at the Patriot League Championship, placing fourth with a time of 3:25.05 (3/1).
• Had a season best of 9.09 in the 60m hurdles at the BU Terrier Classic (1/25).
• Ran season bests in the 400m (54.90) and 55m hurdles (8.83) to place fourth and fifth, respectively, at the University of New Hampshire (1/18).
• Ran a time of 1:10.60 in the 500m at the Beantown Challenge (1/11).

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• Four-year member of the varsity track and field team at Oliver Ames High School under head coach James Sunderland. 
• Captain his senior year. 
• Won a D2 state championship in the 4x800m relay.
• Named Enterprise All-Scholastic Athlete in 2019 for track and field.
• Four year member of the Oliver Ames Varsity Soccer team under head coach John Barata, where he was a team captain and won a D2 state title in 2015.
• Named an Enterprise All-Scholastic Athlete in 2018 in soccer. 

PERSONAL:

• Son of Paul and Eileen Flaherty. 
• Both parents are 1986 graduates of Holy Cross. 
• Has three sisters (Kate, Emily and Deanna).
• Emily was a member of the track and field team at Amherst College (2015-19).
• Majoring in psychology.
