Holy Cross Athletics

• Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
• Coxswain for all four fall events.
  • Member of the varsity four that placed 10th at the Head of the Riverfront (10/3).
  • Finished first with the collegiate four at the Snake Regatta (10/17).
  • Helped the club four to a 38th place finish at the Head of the Charles (10/23).
  • Led the varsity four to a first place finish at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30).
• Competed in all six spring events.
  • Coxswain for the varsity four three times and second varsity eight three times.
  • Finished first in the C final with the varsity four at the Jesuit Invitational (3/26).
  • Finished fourth in the third-level final with the second varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints (5/1).
  • Helped the second varsity eight to a second-place finish in the petite final at the Patriot League Championship (5/13).

2020-2021 (Junior):

• Competed in two races on the season.
• Coxswain for the third varsity eight once and the varsity four once.
• Fall portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.

2019-2020 (Sophomore):

• Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
• Competed in every fall race in the varsity eight boat.
• A member of the varsity eight boat that placed fourth at the Snake Regatta.
• Spring portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.

2018-2019 (Freshman):

• Competed in one race in the second varsity eight boat.
• Competed in five races in the varsity four boat.

BEFORE HOLY CROSS:

• A seven-season member of the varsity rowing team under head coach Gary Beekman as a coxswain.
• Ran four years on the varsity indoor track team under head coach Robert Schuler.
• Captain of the track team in the 2017-2018 season.

PERSONAL:

• Daughter of Anthony and Jeanne Russo.
• Has two brothers (John and Theodore) and two sisters (Kerrin and Bridget).
• Majoring in Mathematics and Economics.
