Biography
2021-2022 (Senior):
- Competed in two fall races.
- Placed first with the collegiate four at the Snake Regatta (10/17).
- Placed fourth with the varsity eight at the Wormtown Chase Regatta (10/30).
- Compete in all six spring events.
- Raced with the varsity eight once, and the second varsity eight five times.
- Finished second with the varsity eight at the Jesuit Invitational (3/26).
- Helped the second varsity eight to a second-place finish in the petite final at the Patriot League Championship (5/13).
2020-2021 (Junior):
- Selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
- Competed in all five races on the season.
- Part of the varsity eight once and the second varsity eight four times.
- Rowed in the second varsity eight that placed fifth at the Patriot League Championship, while helping Holy Cross to its best team finish since 2015 (fifth place).
- Fall portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
2019-2020 (Sophomore):
- Competed in two races in the second varsity eight boat.
- Competed in one race in the varsity four boat.
- Spring portion of season canceled due to COVID-19.
2018-2019 (Freshman):
- Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
- Competed in one race in the varsity eight boat.
- Competed in five races in the second varsity eight boat.
- Competed in two races in the varsity four boat.
BEFORE HOLY CROSS:
- A six-season member of the varsity rowing squad under head coach Aileen McNamara.
- In her senior season, claimed first in the varsity eight at the Welland Five Bridges Classic.
- As a junior, rowed to second place in the varsity eight at the NYSSRA Championship, first place in the varsity four at the All-High Regatta and second place in the junior eight at the Saratoga Invitational.
- Raced in the Head of the Charles Regatta as a junior.
- As a sophomore, helped team to place second in junior eight at the NYSSRA Championship, third place at the Welland Five Bridges Classic and first place at the All-High Regatta.
- Won the Hammer Award as the fastest novice in the 2,000 meters as a freshman.
- Rowed for West Side Rowing Club under head coach Frances McGuire.
- Claimed three consecutive first place varsity eight finishes at the West Side Rowing Invitational Regatta (2015, 2016, 2017).
- In 2017, placed first in the varsity eight boat at St. Catherine’s Invitational and the Henley Regatta.
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Mike and Rita Anthony.
- Has one sister (Sarah).
- Majoring in English and Sociology.
