Aluna Coogan-Coyne places third for women's cross country in season opener at UMass

AMHERST, Mass.- Junior Aluna Coogan-Coyne placed third at the 2026 Ken O'Brien Invitational with a time of 14:13.9 in the 4k on Saturday, Sept. 5 at UMass Amherst. Coogan-Coyne was Holy Cross' lone finisher inside the top five with senior Sienna Brunetti placing seventh with a time of 14:25.8. Holy Cross finished 2nd overall at the meet with 43 total points.
