ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Sophomore Leo Chu finished in 16th place as an individual, to lead the Holy Cross men's golf squad to fifth place as a team in the Goat Invitational at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club. 

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:
• Chu (71-71-75) finished the tournament at four-over par (217).
• Senior Alex Elia (71-73-76) and senior Ryan Scollins (75-73-72) tied for 25th with 220 strokes.
• Rounding out the field for the Crusaders were freshman Ryan Mosher (37th / 223) and sophomore John Scully (50th / 226).
• Kai Jun Huang of Connecticut won a playoff to claim individual medalist honors, after finishing in a three-way tie for first at two-under par (211).

TEAM SCORES:
• George Washington won the team title with a three-round total of 856 strokes (four-over par).
• Holy Cross finished with a total of 874 strokes. 
• The Crusaders had the best finish of all the Patriot League teams in the field, placing ahead of Navy (878), Colgate (883), Lafayette (889) and Bucknell (921).

• Holy Cross returns to action when it takes part in the UConn Invitational at the Greathorse Country Club in Hampden, Mass., from Sept. 27-29.
