WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross women's tennis team ended its 2025-26 regular-season with a pair of losses losing to Patriot League foe Loyola (Md.) 4-0 on Sunday in Baltimore before falling 6-1 to non-conference opponent Sacred Heart Tuesday afternoon in Worcester.

The losses send Holy Cross to 3-15, 0-5 PL while the wins moved the Greyhounds to 3-12, 3-4 PL and the Pioneers to 10-9

LOYOLA (MD.) DOUBLES ACTION:

• A pair of victories in doubles play for Loyola (Md.) earned them the doubles point.
• Freshmen Phoebe Devine and Margaret Winiecki battled at No. 1 falling by a close 7-5 margin.

LOYOLA (MD.) SINGLES PLAY:

• They Greyhounds earned all singles points for the win.

SACRED HEART DOUBLES ACTION:

• SHU won at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the match.

SACRED HEART SINGLES PLAY:

• Freshman Phoebe Devine was the lone victory in singles play winning at No. 1 3-6, 6-4, 10-6.

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders travel to Lewisburg, Pa. for the First Round of the 2026 Patriot League Championship to face off with No. 8 seeded Lafayette (2-11, 1-5 PL) on Thursday, April 16 at 3 p.m.
