PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Holy Cross women's tennis program suffered a 7-0 defeat at the hands of nonconference opponent Brown Tuesday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center.

The loss sends the Crusaders to 2-3 on the year while the Bears improve to 4-0.

DOUBLES ACTION:

• Brown earned wins at all three doubles matchups to capture the doubles point.

SINGLES PLAY:

• The Bears swept the singles matches to claim the overall victory.
• Freshman Phoebe Devine fell at No. 1 singles by a 6-4, 6-3 score.
• Freshman Hannah Flynn was close to victory at No. 2 singles dropping the match 6-3, 6-4.

NEXT UP:

• The Crusaders are back in action against Siena (3-0) on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.
