BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Holy Cross cross country teams were unable to compete at the 52nd Paul Short Run on Friday afternoon, as the meet was canceled due to elevated heat conditions and rapidly rising temperatures in the Bethlehem, Pa. area.

The decision was made following consultation with on-site medical personnel and Lehigh Athletics administrators to prioritize the safety and well-being of all student-athletes and participants. The cancellation affected the final six races of the meet at Lehigh's Goodman Campus Course.

Holy Cross Cross Country returns next Friday, Oct. 9, competing in the NEICAAA Championships in Hopkinton, N.H.
