WORCESTER, Mass. – Eight student-athletes from the Holy Cross swimming and diving teams have been selected to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.
 
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
Four men and four women earned the honors, take a look at the honorees below:
 
Junior Rory Hess, 3.68 GPA, economics major*
Sophomore Alex Michael, 3.980 GPA, chemistry/economics majors
Junior Brendan O'Brien, 3.78 GPA, economics/mathematics majors*
Senior Hunter Sullivan, 3.70GPA, English/Chinese majors*
Senior Katie Battagliese, 3.68 GPA, environmental studies major
Senior Ginger Berry, 3.76 GPA, Spanish/international studies majors
Sophomore MaryKate Loveless, 3.81 GPA, economics major
Senior Greta Walting, 3.78 GPA, political science major*
