Holy Cross student-athletes posted a 3.36 grade-point average during the Fall 2023 semester, marking the 27th straight semester that Crusader student-athletes have recorded above a 3.1 GPA.
At the men's basketball game vs. Bucknell on Wednesday, Feb. 21, all 294 student-athletes named to the Dean's List in Fall 2023 will be celebrated during an on-court recognition at halftime, along with a special recognition for all student-athletes who recorded a 4.0 GPA. Tipoff for Wednesday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m., and tickets can be purchased
through the Holy Cross Ticket Office.
This past fall, 544 student-athletes achieved a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, with 316 student-athletes who achieved a fall GPA of 3.5 or higher. A total of 39 student-athletes recorded a perfect 4.0 semester GPA.
In total, 25 Holy Cross teams had a GPA higher than 3.0, with 11 programs above a 3.5 GPA. The women's tennis team had the highest GPA of any program, with an average GPA of 3.71 during the fall semester.
In December, according to the
Graduation Success Rate Report released by the NCAA, Holy Cross' athletic teams tied for sixth in the nation with an overall graduation rate of 98 percent. This marks the 17th consecutive year in which the Crusaders have posted a Graduation Success Rate of at least 97 percent.
