KENSINGTON, Conn. — Junior Nolan Schuermann finished in the individual top-20 as the Holy Cross men's golf team finished in a shared 9th place at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate at the Shuttle Meadow Country Club.
Schuermann paced all Crusaders firing a 70 in round one on the first day and shot a 72 on the final day for a 142 (E) performance which gave him a share of 20th place.
After two rounds of the 36-hole course, the Crusaders finished with a score of 584 (+16) as a team.
COACH'S CORNER:
"The team played great on Saturday, led by Nolan Schuermann '25. On Sunday the team had a very rough start to the round and were eight over par through two holes. They never gave up and played the final sixteen holes at two over par," said director of golf Steve Napoli. " They showed a lot of tenacity and gave a valiant effort. We have nearly two weeks to prepare for the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse"
