Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's soccer ties with American

WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman midfielder Kailee McCabe scored the first goal of her collegiate career to tie with the American Eagles 1-1 at the Linda Johnson Smith Stadium. The Crusaders move to 0-5-4 on the season, while the Eagles stand 1-1-5 overall.

American's Brooke Steele scored the first goal of the game 15:19 into the first half. The Eagles held the 1-0 lead until McCabe's goal with 1:47 remaining in the match with an assist from sophomore forward Ashley Blaka.

The Crusaders finished the night with an 8-6 advantage in shots on goal, while the Eagles held a 7-5 edge in saves. 

Holy Cross returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 21, when it travels to Army for a 6:00 p.m. game.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
