WORCESTER, Mass. — Holy Cross Athletics, in conjunction with
WePlayed Sports, will soon begin offering individual video highlight clips of numerous student-athletes who compete or have competed for the Crusaders across various sports. These moments will be available on the department of athletics' official website, GoHolyCross.com.
WePlayed Sports is an intelligent short-form video solution for college athletics institutions. The WePlayed Sports platform is powered by proprietary technology that converts full-length game film into compelling short-form videos, ready for distribution. Not only can student-athletes, alumni, family and fans watch hundreds of short-form videos, but they can also personalize their viewing experience to focus on the student-athletes, season, game or play type that interests them most.
"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with WePlayed to offer our student-athletes, families and friends a best-in-class short-form video experience," said Holy Cross Associate Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Kit Hughes. "As our student-athletes continue to pursue excellence in competition, we are excited to expand opportunities to showcase their accomplishments and continue to aid them in telling their story, building their brand and establishing moments and memories that will last a lifetime. This partnership is perfectly aligned with our strategic priorities, and I am grateful to the team at WePlayed for their commitment to serving student-athletes throughout this process."Â
This video experience will be available for the following teams: baseball, men's and women's basketball, field hockey, football, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, softball and volleyball. Links to videos will be provided on each sport's home page on GoHolyCross.com, as well as on each student-athletes' bio page.
