Women's soccer travels to Colgate Saturday

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross women's soccer team will travel to Colgate for a 4 p.m. matchup this Saturday, April 3.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Things to Know About the Crusaders (1-2):
  • Holy Cross is looking to get back in the win column this week after a pair of one-goal losses in each of its last two games. Most recently, the Crusaders fell 2-1 at Army.
  • Ellie Zern scored her first collegiate goal to take the lead against the Black Knights, but Army would score two second-half goals for the comeback win.
  • Claire Carew leads the team with two assists on the year as she picked up her second of the season on Zern's strike.
  • Sophia Lettieri has made 20 saves through three games for a .833 save percentage.
Things to Know About the Raiders (1-3-1):
  • Colgate opened the season with a 2-1 double overtime victory over Navy, but has struggled since with three-straight losses before tying Lehigh last week 1-1.
  • All five Raider goals have been scored by a different player, with Ruby Diodati leading the team with three points.
  • In goal, Sophia Boggs has started four of the five games and posted a 1.48 goals against average and a .538 save percentage.
Last Time They Met:
  • Last season, Colgate was one of Holy Cross' eight ties on the year. The Crusaders and Raiders played to a 0-0 draw after two overtime periods.
