WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior midfielder Kelly Crowley has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from September 9-15. Crowley led the Holy Cross women's soccer team to a 1-0-1 record in a pair of games last week.
During Thursday's 1-1 double overtime tie at Rhode Island, Crowley recorded an assist on the Crusaders' lone goal of the night. Then in Sunday's 4-0 victory over St. Francis (N.Y.), she posted one goal and one assist.
Overall this season, Crowley is now tied for the team lead in scoring with four points on one goal and two assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has totaled four goals and four assists for 12 points in 54 games played.
The Crusaders, who are unbeaten in their last five games and stand 2-2-3 overall, return to action on Sunday, Sept. 22, when they play host to Army West Point in their Patriot League opener at 2:05 p.m.
