WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women's soccer senior Kelly Crowley was named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week, as announced by the league Monday.
Crowley scored the game-winning goal against league-leading Navy when she headed home a corner kick in the 20th minute of Saturday's contest. The win snapped Navy's 11-game unbeaten streak and improved the Crusaders' own unbeaten streak to 10 games.
This is the second weekly award of the season for Crowley, and fourth in her career, as she was previously named Offensive Player of the Week back on Sept. 16.
The Crusaders will continue play this Saturday, Oct. 19, when they travel to Lehigh for a 1 p.m. matchup.
