WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross softball team dropped the final game of the weekend series to Army, 3-2. Holy Cross stands at 11-26 overall with a 4-8 record in Patriot League play. Army moves to 21-23 overall and 6-6 in league play. Freshman Bella Jankowski went 1-2 and notched two RBIs. Macey Newbury pitched five innings for the Black Knights and recorded three strikeouts.

Fourth Inning:
- Junior Taylor Wahler went 1-2 on the day and had a single in the fourth inning.
- Sophomore Sydney Behrens hit a single to center field right after Wahler, who advanced to second.
- Jankowski recorded two RBIs on a single to left field, which allowed Wahler and Behrens to score.
- The Black Knights were able to hold the Crusadres to two runs and secure the win, 3-2.
