HOW IT HAPPENED

• Both teams created scoring chances in the first half, as Lafayette outshot the Crusaders 6-3.
• The Leopards broke the scoreless tie in the 28th minute of play, as Kaelin King finished off a rebound opportunity in front of the net.
• Holy Cross registered a pair of shots on net in the second half, but were unable to find the equalizing goal despite earning three penalty corners in that time.
• Senior goalkeeper Brooke Holle made four saves in the second half to keep it a one goal game.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Holle stopped five shots for Holy Cross.
• Danielle Sedillo and Kelly O'Brien each made a pair of saves for the Leopards, as both goalkeepers played 45 minutes.
• Shots on goal were 6-4 in favor of Lafayette.
