Senior Alex Volpi has played in 107 career games as an infielder for the Holy Cross baseball team, winning a Patriot League Championship with the Crusaders in 2017.
With nine career home runs, Volpi’s power has lifted the Crusaders on numerous occasions. As a junior, Volpi batted .288 in Patriot League play with 17 RBI, while slugging .500 and posting an on-base percentage of .424. Throughout his career, Volpi has hit .250 in conference play with a .442 slugging percentage.
Academically, Volpi has helped set the standard for his teammates, earning a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll each of the last three seasons.
Volpi (Mohegan Lake, N.Y.) will graduate Holy Cross with a degree in political science.
