COACH KOOLMAN ON THE GAME: "We slowly got into the game and played better at the start of the second half with the score still tied at 0-0 as we were putting pressure on them," said Holy Cross head coach Marco Koolman. The team is excited to play at home on Wednesday."
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
• Wright recorded six saves, while Klenofsky earned the shutout with two saves.
• Monmouth held the advantage in shots (11-3) and shots on goal (8-2).
