Crusaders Post 3.23 Fall Semester GPA
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross student-athletes completed another semester of impressive academic performances, posting a cumulative 3.23 grade point average during the 2018 fall term. This marks the 14th-straight semester that Crusader student-athletes have combined to post a GPA of at least 3.10, while 96 percent of Holy Cross’ varsity programs achieved a term GPA of 3.00 or higher.
“The academic achievement of our student-athletes is at the forefront of the Holy Cross experience, and once again, our Crusaders have shown they excel in this important area,” said Director of Athletics Nathan Pine. “With more than 700 student-athletes on Mount St. James, to achieve such impressive numbers semester after semester is a testament to the commitment of our Crusaders – as well as the commitment and support of our faculty, coaches and staff – to being true student-athletes and constant leaders within the academic landscape of college athletics.”
The men’s cross country team led the way for all sports with a team GPA of 3.45. Women’s soccer was the top women’s program with a 3.43. In total, 218 student-athletes earned a spot on the Dean’s List with a GPA of at least 3.50, while 11 Crusaders posted a perfect 4.00 for the semester.
