Brewster Selected as Senior CLASS Award Candidate
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross softball senior Jackie Brewster has been selected as a one of 30 candidates across all of NCAA softball for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award, as announced today.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a Division I senior and have excelled in four separate areas: community, classroom, character, and competition. Brewster has shown herself to be a leader in all of these areas. Her profile on the award’s website, detailing her accomplishments, can be found here. Brewster is the first Crusader to be named a candidate for the CLASS, Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, award.
The list of 30 candidates will be narrowed down to 10 finalists later in the season. Those 10 names will be included on the official ballot. Then, through a nationwide voting system, media, coaches, and fans will get a chance to vote for the one candidate who they think best exemplifies excellence in community, classroom, character, and competition.
