Seslija Selected to Play in NEWISA Senior Game

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Ang Seslija of the Holy Cross women’s soccer team has been selected to take part in the 2018 New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association Senior Game on Dec. 1 at Merrimack College.

The game features top seniors from across New England and gives them a chance to represent their school as they compete with and against their peers.

Seslija finished the year as the team leader in both points (10) and assists (6). Her two goals were tied for second on the team. Highlights from the season include her game-winning penalty kick in a 1-0 victory over Fordham on Aug. 24 and her double-overtime goal to beat Army 1-0 on Oct. 21. She also assisted on the game-winner to beat Loyola (Md.) 1-0 on Senior Day on Oct. 6.

Seslija wraps up her career with the Crusaders with 13 goals and eight assists for 34 points. She is a three-time All-Patriot League selection after having been named to the Second Team as a sophomore and Third Team as a junior and senior.
