Foley Earns Sophomore All-America Honors
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross sophomore Brian Foley has been selected to the 2018 Hero Sports Sophomore All-America team for the Football Championship Subdivision. Foley earned honorable mention distinction as an offensive lineman.
A first team All-Patriot League selection, Foley played in all 11 of Holy Cross’ games this year, starting every time at left tackle. He was one of the leaders on an offensive line which paved the way for the Crusaders to rank second in the Patriot League in total offense (327.3 yards per game), rushing (132.5 yards per game) and scoring (24.4 points per game) this season. Over the course of his collegiate career, Foley has played in 22 games with 12 starts.
Holy Cross concluded the 2018 season with an overall record of 5-6, and tied for second in the Patriot League with a 4-2 mark in conference games.
