Lachapelle and Roth Named Assistant Coaches for U-18 and U-22 National Teams

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross women’s hockey head coach Katie Lachapelle has been named an assistant coach of the 2019 U.S. Under-22 Women’s Select Team, while associate head coach Meredith Roth will serve as an assistant coach to the 2019-2020 U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team and the 2019 U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team, as announced by USA Hockey Monday afternoon.

Lachapelle and the rest of the U-22 staff will lead the U.S. Under-22 Women's Select Team at the 2019 Under-22 Series vs. Canada, which will be held Aug. 15-18 in Lake Placid, New York.

Roth and the U-18 staff will lead Team USA at both the 2019 Under-18 Series vs. Canada from Aug. 15-18 in Lake Placid, New York, as well as at the 2020 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women's World Championship, set to take place in January 2020 in a location to be determined.

This will be Roth’s first time coaching one of the U.S. National Teams. Lachapelle has been involved in the USWNT system since 2013, most recently serving as a camp coach at the 2018 USA Hockey Women’s Winter Training Camp.
